This is a great opportunity to work for a successful event production company across multiple divisions including production and exhibitions.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player who’s looking to develop their skills and experience within the AV industry.
As part of our team, you’ll work on projects from conception to completion, from helping prepare and maintain our growing stock of hire equipment to working with it alongside our other engineers.
If you have some knowledge and are willing to learn we’ll teach you what you need to know, you don’t have to come with a wealth of experience, the right attitude is key.
You should be tech savvy, neat, organised, and able to work unsupervised. There are further opportunities to progress within the business and step into different roles.
The role:
⭐️ This is a full time position, Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm, with some extra hours as needed
⭐️ You will be responsible for preparing, checking and testing AV equipment, and setting up equipment for conferences, events and exhibitions
⭐️ You will need to operate and oversee equipment
⭐️ You should be prepared to participate in training courses
⭐️ There will be some exciting travelling and staying away in the UK & Europe
⭐️ You will also help with the occasional AV installation and various other tasks to support our business
You will need a driving license and be over the age of 21 for vehicle insurance. Wage is negotiable depending on your previous experience, and we will provide you with a phone and laptop.

The purpose of our new 5,000sqft Arena is to showcase exhibition stands in various states of construction so that our customers can check on the build and make sure they are happy with what they have asked for before it turns up at their event! And we are delighted to say that Arena has been an invaluable asset to us over the last few weeks as we have worked on building this incredible stand designed by Dijon Designs.
The stand is for use at the DSEI 2021 event at the London Excel and everything you see was sourced by us and built by our Breathe Expo team. You can view more pics of the full stand on our Exhibitions page.
We previously told you about the installation of a complete Wi-Fi network at The Forest Hotel in Dorridge, and we have just started the next stage of the new owners' huge refurbishment plan; a 30 camera CCTV system and 50 speaker sound system.
Due to the fact that we have had ladders galore, we have been working out of hours to avoid disruption to the workings of the hotel staff and visitors, so there have been a lot of 5am starts! All worth it to provide the new-look Forest Hotel with intelligently controlled, power sharing audio with 'touch of a button' Soundweb controllers.
The CCTV system means that The Forest Hotel employees and guests will have total security peace of mind from a centrally monitored, 30 camera CCTV system covering all areas of the hotel, bar, terrace and shared spaces.
The Butchers Social Forest Hotel is situated in Dorridge, Solihull, and has recently been bought by new owners with a huge refurbishment plan! Part of the refurb included a much needed upgrade of their current Wi-Fi network, as the existing system was out-dated, produced poor connectivity, and had improperly installed cabling.
The Breathe Install team decided that a high-performance Draytek router, switch and access points would provide coverage and connectivity to all 14 zones of the building including bedrooms, terraces, restaurant, bar and conferencing/wedding facilities. The selected VigorAP 1060C includes a high-performance Mesh Wireless solution, with Wi-Fi 6 technology, offering up to 3.6Gbps dual-band wireless performance and up to 2.5Gb Ethernet connectivity.
For added security and QoS prioritisation, the Breathe Install team configured the system with multiple VLANs for clients, guests, conference rooms, business meetings and EPOS, and remote manage of this installation will take place via a VigorACS2 central management platform.
Also known as Team Rooms (depending on your virtual meeting software of choice) a Zoom/Team Room can be created using our bespoke video conferencing units that house large 55" screens and connectivity, without the need for your own laptop. You get to host a meeting via Zoom or Microsoft Teams with boardroom-quality audio, wireless content sharing, and the ease of touchscreen technology. You will also have a support team on hand to make sure your meeting goes without a hitch.
We can install this entire system safely in any room of your choice so that you get a dedicated video conferencing facility that is simple to use and provides the next level of virtual conferencing experiences.

We're delighted to be working with IBJ again on their next awards ceremony. It's an anniversary celebration so it's going to be a bumper edition!
We're especially excited to be teaming up with Ray Girvan (Founder and CEO of the IBJ Awards) and Emma Murray (of Meantime Communications) once again.
We have produced some fabulous events for IBJ previously in London, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp and Paris, with some fantastically memorable details such as 8ft tall letters covered in 200 vintage lightbulbs (more about that here)!!
Always fantastic fun, always spectacular events and always a great team for the Breathe crew to work with.

We have already offered this solution to a number of our regular customers as an invaluable communication solution, with huge success, and even though we will soon be able to produce in-person events again, we are keeping our digital service in place so that you still have an alternative option to holding your event - at a place and time that suits everyone.
Although you may have taken a lot of time communicating with us about the minutest details of your exhibitions stand, the first time you actually see the finished product in all its glory is when it arrives at the exhibition. Well NO MORE!!
We have expanded yet again, and taken on a 5,000sqft warehouse that we have called Breathe Arena. This huge, clean space is where we will construct your stand so that you can visit it and get a feel for it before your exhibition even starts. This gives you the opportunity to work out what little extras are needed, get used to the space and check it all works correctly for your needs.
Never before have we been able to offer this service to our Exhibition clients, so we are truly delighted and can’t wait to welcome you inside.
We have expanded the footprint of our Exhibition team, to include a HUGE warehouse for manufacturing all of our exhibition stands in! It has taken a couple of months and lots of paint and wiring, but we now have a lovely new home for our Breathe Expo team of six carpenters.
Now we have plenty of space for our team to create, build and store exhibition stands ready for dispatch. Not only this but the new space gives us the opportunity to expand our Products division where we create bespoke branded event and exhibition furniture for hire, including registration desks, lighting cubes and displays for every occasion. We have a number of these in stock, ready to go, and a team ready to make whatever you need in our brand new manufacturing warehouse!
